Poll: Why do some people like to feel different types of pain?

This question is inspired by a friend of mine who just had a tattoo done the other day and they actually said they liked the pain of having it done.....

So i'm asking is there a kind of pain that you like?....
Is the fact of liking pain so abnormal?...
