Obama promises a tax cut for 95% of Americans. He can't possibly deliver that with all of his spending plans. Plus, it just isn't in his nature. He is a socialist (See Chicago chapter of the DSA...Democratic Socialists of America).
The fact of the matter is that the top 50% of tax payers pay 97% of the total taxes. The top 1% pay 40%. How do you only raise takes on the wealthy when they pay most of the taxes? It doesn't work that way, but Obama is getting away with his BS because of a complicit media. Obama favors a massive redistribution of wealth.
Class warfare is what the liberals use to get lower income people to keep voting for them. Another fact, the poor and certain minority groups have been voting in large blocks for liberals over the last 60 years or so. Why hasn't the situation improved for this group during 6 decades of reliable voting? Well, it is because they need to keep you poor and needing the government. If you don't need them then you won't need to vote for them. This is why they are called poverty pimps. Their power is due to you needing them. If you don't need the government you will be less likely to vote for them. Period.
Liberals like to talk about big corporations being bad, etc. I don't know about you, but I never got a job from a poor person. Before starting my own company, I always seemed to get jobs from successful companies and individuals. Why does it make sense to tear down successful companies and individuals when that is who provides jobs? Go back and look at what Jimmy Carter (worst President in the history of the US) and you will see what an uber Liberal...socialist...President and Congress will deliver. Double digit unemployement and double digit inflation.
Vote however you want, but at least educate yourself a little bit about what exactly your chosen candidate stands for. Not just the rhetoric. The associations, alliances, and record. Nobody is squeeky clean in politics but you will find trends that will point you in the right direction.
