Well when you ask questions you lose points, so it makes it harder to become a top contributer (I think).

you can ask a thousand Qs or Zero Q here in p/s and still you won't be a TC. p/s doesn't have TCs.
in other sections, however, being a TC has nothing to do with your Qs but on your answers getting the BA.
