POLL: If seers are real, and psychics do exist, is the Bible a product of these?

I believe the Bible to be, not of God's word, but truths about future events twisted to fit the King's desires, i.e. control society. What if prophecy is true, but God coming down from all sides at all times is a massive meteor that takes out most of the world? I think it is more likely to be Nostradamus type of writings that have merit, but are twisted in to fear mongering. All I want to know is do you believe this as a strong possibility? POLL
