what a bad country we are? My God Am I ever so sick and tired of people pointing fingers and constantly blaming America for everything. This is precisely why I want us to become an isolationist nation again just so we don’t have to deal with people moronically saying how bad and evil we are.
Americans are the most generous people on this Earth. Whenever and wherever there is a natural disaster in the world we are always the first ones to send financial, military, governmental, humanitarian, and all sorts of aid to victims. (I.E. - Look at Haiti. Sending down 10,000 troops, millions of dollars have been donated, tons of American support and outreach.) We’ve liberated millions of people across the world from tyrannies, evil governments, and oppression shedding young American blood, sweat, and tears for people didn’t even know and saved millions of people and many countries in wars such as World War II (Including several Europe in case any of you Europeans have forgotten.) In addition, many of the very luxuries you enjoy today such as i-Pods, light bulbs, blue jeans, refrigerators, telephone, radio, television, camera, mobile phone, computer, internet, airplanes, etc... come from the minds of genius American inventors. And the list can go on and on. It seems like the world has forgotten all of this.
Listen, I’m not trying to be a pig obnoxious nationalist or anything like that. I definitely realize that like any other country America most definitely indeed has its faults, mistakes, corruption, and misjudgments. That should not be forgotten and it should be corrected. But while so much blaming has been going on about what’s wrong with the U.S. I thought I’d take this opportunity to take a step back and remind people of the positives this great country has contributed to the world. Let’s not forget that and be ignorant as well as not forgetting the mistakes we made and need to fix. I have respect for your country and you have respect for mine.
