...taking for granted their safety? Especially in the United States. In comparison to many other countries, we have a pretty safe society and it seems that not ALL of our law enforcement is corrupt. Even if there are bad cops out there, there are still plenty of hardworking, honest people doing their job. But really, do we b*tch and moan too much in the States? Do we complain about having cops around but take for granted that we aren't being dragged off by hordes of criminal elements to be robbed and killed because we do have law enforcement?

Even if it gets annoying having a helicopter buzzing my house every day and night, I am still glad that they are there in the end, ya know?
If I was a lawman, I would totally make my Chief call me "Kid Charlemagne" and bust all the criminal a$$es right and left while doing things my own way enough to get him pissed off and then he would shout at me "dammit Kid Charlemagne! You took out half the city block to get them no good McDougal boys down on Elrond Halfelven Blvd.!!!" and I would look back and go "sorry Chief, it ain't long...." and strut on out twirling my pistols and doing my swanky walk to go pick up on some of them hootchie kootchie girls who like a lawman who plays by his own rules when he has to. Ya know what I mean?
