1-Health care reform is an emergency, at least according to those who push for it. While I agree we desperately need health care reform to ease the cost on Americans, why would the current form of health care reform, if it really is such an emergency, take effect three to four years after it is passed. Furthermore, according to the Congressional Budget Office, if passed as is, it would still leave several million un-insured.

2-A lot of people are angry about this senator blocking legislation that would extend unemployment benefits. Why not take some of the hundreds of billions from obama's "stimulus", and use that instead of spending more? Also, i heard a report, but can not confirm it, that this senator asked about using part of Obama's "stimulus". Again, it was a rumor, but it could be true.

3-China's military recently floated the idea of stopping the purchase of U.S. debt because we continue to offer weapons to Taiwan. If China is like a creditor to the U.S., what happens if they do this, and call in their debt, in your opinion.

These questions are not meant to be biased, or partisan. I am not a political pundit, and hold no real affiliation to either party, although I consider myself a pro-life conservative. Just interested in other people's opinions on the topics listed above.
