Police Tap

Hello, i was wondering if anyone knows a way to find out if a cell phone is tapped, my house was searched by the police the other day, and since then, when i am using my nokia 6288 there is a crackle when i speak, i am in australia and on the network 3. thank you
 
I am not familiar with the government over there but I know here in U.S. someone found a way to tap into cell phones even though it's not being used. I don't know too much information about it though.
 
Why was your house searched? secrecyguy, this one is definitely right up your alley! Sure you don't have any more info?
 
No, I don't. I just read the headlines and maybe one or two sentences and that's it.
