If a person brought in a video to the police that showed another person commiting numerous felonys including growing drugs in their home and he brought the video in to police, but seems how there are no laws saying when or how an investigation must take place, if the police go over a year without investigating (because the person is a public figure) is there ANYWAY I can go to court and get a judge to make them investigate? The person continues to commit these felonys day after day and there is documented proof of it.
Someone told me, "Police action must be governed by a specific code or statute, otherwise the are ABOVE THE LAW.
Any given statute that prescribes a departmental function, creates an obligation, or prescribes a penalty, must be implemented by regulations published in the Federal Register. The requirement is in the Federal Register Act, at 44 U.S.C. ß 1505(a)."
Is this true? Are police obligated to respond? Is there anything I could do in court?
Rick, what if this started before castle rock vs gonzales
what about their oath to uphold the constitution?
So your telling me if this person is growing selling and using all sorts of drugs that there is nothing you can do about it?
are dea/state police obligated to respond?
