Police Cars in the USA migrating to Dodge Charger?

It seems like their switching to everything in Chicago. Up here they drive chargers, camaros, impalas, cobalts, tahoes, vics, caprices, I've even seen a few dodge stratus police cars.

I think it's all the area and what location the police covers. In Kentucky, it's mostly crown vics in my town, but in another town, I've seen crown vics, an explorer and charger, but it was only a v6 lol. I've seen all sorts on the highway from vics to camaros and even a big Ford F350 with a huge brush grill on the front. In one of the townships in Pennsylvania I saw an intrepid lol. I think it's based on how much income they have and how big of area.
