For school, I have to write a free verse poem with alliteration. I decided to do it on Boston and this is what i have so far:
Prestigious sights sit seaside,
waiting to be explored.
Famous figures fitting into
the lives of Americans today.
A puzzle piled high with history,
stories of battles and bravery.
Family photos fill my mind,
warm embraces of memories pass.
Salty sea air fills my nose
It has to be 15 lines, and I'm totally lost here.
I have no clue what to write.
i would be willing to change my topic too.
this is my first english assignment in this class and i guess i'm a really good writer?
people always tell me that, and last year's teacher gave a recomendation to this years teacher that i should have to do the harder stuff. but i'm freaked out!!
i want to impress him!
PLEASE HELP!
thanks,
