I want your feedback, help me get better.
What happens when we die?
Are you telling lies if no one can verify what you are saying?
Can you clarify before you crucify, and exactly to whom am I praying?
More people have died, because we don’t know the answer to that question
Or they disagree, on the who what when or why, which in turn causes aggression. Over money and religion there's more blood to spill
The wounds of slaves in cotton fields that never heal
What's the deal?
Since others don’t believe what we do, we see them as a threat
Suddenly, we have the pyramids, built from Jewish sweat.
And were told that Muslims like to make bombs
When really, they have the same qualms, and problems
And no amount of racism can solve them.
Tolerance, teach it, at your churches preach it
Never beseech other people because they don’t think the same as you
And possibly except the fact that neither of you know the certain truth.
And don’t even try to say that you do
You have no proof, believe what you want, go ahead sing your psalms, but never try to take from someone what doesn’t belong to you
Because they are probably just as wrong as you
Over money and religion there's more blood to spill
The wounds of slaves in cotton fields that never heal
What's the deal?
There is a mass confusion and no one has absolution of what they believe,
So leave others alone, because faith should not be blind
And you may find, if you just think about it that you have a redesigned state of mind
Religion should not create your vision
Think, and your sight is restored, cut the chord and sustain your self
And understand that hurting others is also bad for your health
Because more blood’s been spilled over religion than anything else
Don’t let history repeat itself, as it tends to do
Because if you don’t think, then eventually, somebody’ll find something wrong with you.
