Hello,
My name is marie, and i am 13 years old.
It sounds strange, but i believe i have a very wise head on very young shoulders, and believe i have a talent for literature and poetry.
Although i can make up a poem in a minute, my range of vocabulary is somewhat limited due to age, and i have recently been trying to expand.
This also may seem rather obsurd to you, but at the younger age of 10, i had a poem published in a book. I aspire to be like spike milligan, as i believe we have the same - rather odd- sense of humor. Anyway, i pprocrastinate
My question IS, could i say " She has her peers under false ppretenses" im pretty unfamiliar with the word ppretenses and for me, i learn the correct way to use a word through hearing it in a sentence
Im writing about vanity and superficiality, and specifically about a woman who is a liar and hides behind the make up and everything.
So in a nutshell, i was just wondering if that is the correct way to use that word. If not, how can i rephrase that?

Thank-you all in advance :)

p.s. Apologies for any spelling mistakes, spell checker was playing up
