I'm looking for a more generic military poem than what I've found on the internet. I've tried writing my own, but I keep getting stuck.
My long-term boyfriend just deployed on his first deployment. I've made a gift for his mother, to whom I am very close, but I wanted a poem on there that would calm her fears as well as mine. Just to make us feel better about his absence. Most the poems I've found pertain to either a wife or a mother--there's hardly anything generic enough to support us both. Any ideas on where I can find one? It has to be about medium length. Thanks!!
