....1-- A genetic disorder is a disease caused by a diffrent form of gene. This gene is called a variation or alteration of a gene which is a mutation. Many diseases that we see today have a genetic aspect. An example could be cancer. Cancer is caused by a mutation in a gene, or a group of genes in smeones cells. It can occur randomly or becouse of an environmental exposure an example of this is cigrarete smoke. Most other genetic disorders are inherrited. This happned when a mutated gene is passed down through a family and each generation can inherit that specific gene that causes the disorder.
