PLZ Help!! Nokia 6790 Surge product code??

Hi guys, I have a Nokia 6790 Surge phone that I have been trying to debrand for the last couple days but I cant seem to find a debranded product code anywhere! Can any of you guys please help me, it will be greatly appreciated!

i think this phone was made ONLY for AT&T , so only branded firmware. Bummer

Rogers as well but you might be right about there being no unbranded firmwares.

Hi, The 6760 has a 3 MP camera while the 6790 has a 2MP camera.. I wonder if you can load the 6760 firmware into the 6790? Any ideas guys?

I reread the comparison, the 3g networks are different so you might lose out if you flash it

It gets pretty risky when it comes to this problem, it is better to get it to the service providers which is very important.

Hey, anyone manage to get the Surge debranded? I'd really like to update the firmware somehow, cuz Rogers seems to be blocking some functions on it

Hello guys,

I brought back the AT&T surge again after finding out there is a debrand version released in Latin America. I'm goin to do some research and see if I can get it fully restored from AT&T crippling.

Check back in a week or so and I'll let you know how things went.
