That doesn?t sound like an operator logo but a shortcut on the display. If you have it in the right hand corner of the display it is most probably so that you have an operator variant of the software in the phone (operators often place their shortcut at that place in the phone).
You can try to see if you can change it under Tools -> Settings -> Phone -> Standby Mode. If you can?t see or change "Right Selection Key" you have a branded software version. In that case the only way to get rid of that option is to "unbrand" the phone.
