Plump fresh water fish (2 gallon tank)?

tank isnt big enough for goldfish anyway :) 2 gallon tank isnt really a big enough tank for a plump or large fish.

I would wager 2 guppies would more than fill your tank, you need to make sure the fish have room to move around and live.

If you want a heartier, plump, large fish you will need to move up to at least a 10 gallon (for goldfish size fish) or 20 gallon for oscars and what not.

Also keep in mind you will have to do more water changes when you max it out, the fish need clean water and your filter isnt always going to be enough.

A betta fish is the right choice they are colorful pretty don't poop alot, and are easy to care for the male varieties are beautiful.Feed twice a day change water bowl once a week full change.
And give lots of love.

I'm getting a fish on monday and i'm not sure what kind to get. I don't like really small and thin ones. I like them to look filled out and very colourful. I do only have a 2 gallon tank and would be looking for something with minimum care. (Not a goldfish, they poop too much)

maybe just a snail and a guppy that's all or a loach there cool its like a ell /snake thing but if you want something with color get like 2-4 for guppy's maybe even 3 neon tetras what look really cool be ready to change your water Alto in there but that's a tiny tank i would upgrade to at least a 10 if you bigger fish
