I got a built 302 and the question is, it had accel plug wires on it, pretty expensive plug wires. And anywho the headers burned up one of my plug wires, so I replaced the wire. And come to find out its burning it again, is there anything I can do to stop this?

you could get some of the header wraps to block off the heat: http://www.nextag.com/header-wrap/search-html

did you try spacers, hangers, or clips . are you hitting on the manifold. Maybe get a shorter wire or you used the wrong one for that plug.

There is a product you can put over the plug wire. Its a hi temp sleeve.
Its not a tape, or a header wrap so dont get those.

I bought mine from Jegs. I would guess Summit would have it too.
