Please teach me some English phrases.?

I'm studying English as a second language, and would like to learn some phrases to use when you tell someone something he or she does not want to hear about. but I have to tell because I really care about the person as a best friend.

For example (I try by myself)

"I've wondering for a long time if I should tell you this. But, today, I decided to tell you because I really care about you as a friend. I hope you don't mind. It's about...."

Would you correct my sentence or let me know if there are better ways to say.

I'm not an English native speaker. And, if I can righteously translate the wise words from Yiddish, "be understood and make yourself clear to understand", that's the choice!
 
the sentence is perfect except the first bit "I've wondering" it should be "I've been thinking" wondering applies more too untangible things like i wonder why the sky is blue etc. I hope i helped im learning suomea (finnish) at the minute love it
 
"ill use my credit card"

"do you want to go to perkins?"

"how much for that copy of swank? no, not that one, the one above it"

"is there a ping pong table in this building?"

I THINK YOURE GOOD AT IT AND REMEMBER THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS "PRACTICE"
TRY TO PRACTICE EVERYWHERE NO MATTER IF PEOPLE LAUGH AT YOU AND YOULL FIND YOUR MISTAKES OR ERRORS AND YOULL IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH. KEEP MAKING IT!!!
 
"I've had reservations about telling you this, but..." (shows that you considered it and thought maybe you shouldn't)

"I need to get something off my chest." (the secret you've been holding has been difficult for you to hold on to. This is usually used when you might be to blame for something)

"I know you don't want to hear this, but it's important that you know."
"I know this isn't what you want to hear, but it's the truth."

If someone gets angry at you for telling them this information you should say "Hey, don't shoot the messenger!" (it means that you are not the person that they should direct their anger at. You were only the one who gave them the information)


Your choice of words is good. It shows that you care about this person and want them to know the truth.
 
That sentence is pretty good.
Just fix it up a little bit
'I've been wondering if I should tell you this for a while but I really care about so I have to say something. It's about...'

You could also say,
'Don't take this the wrong way but...'
'No offence...'
'I have to tell you about ... because I care about you a lot.'
