Lord, give me vision, let me see
what it is I need to achieve?
Just like an Eagle in its flight
grant me wisdom and true sight.
If only I could just believe
whenever the safe nest, I do leave.
I’d soar above the lowly clouds
in total meekness not too proud.
I want your heart to be in mine
to let others know what is thine.
For it is you I wish to please
give me a chance that I can seize.
I need your help, so I may grow
a child, I’ve little to bestow.
I see the valleys down below
the steps are hard and spirit low.
Shining forth, like beacon-light
I’d want to guide those in the night.
If you give me the words to say
to them I’d show a brighter day.
What’s a dream without true sight?
If it has no meaning or foresight.
I yearn for the fire to inspire
the flame of a burning desire.
Who am I but a vessel to fill?
Guide me according to your will.
Fill up this heart of mine with love
as it flows over from above.
