Please recommend phone (this will be a challenge)

My RAZR has finally died. So, unfortunately, I'm in the market for a new (to me anyway) phone. I concede my needs will make this a challenge. But here goes:

My provider is Verizon.
I don't want a smart phone.
I sit in front of a computer all day. I don't need internet access wherever I go. (Besides, my wife has a Blackberry.)
I prefer a candybar to another clamshell but I'm flexible.
I don't text if I can help it so keyboard is not necessary but I'm flexible on that too.
I don't need an MP3 or video player.
I really liked the fact that, for a short time anyway, I was able to use MPT and simply transfer ringtones and photos to and from my computer.
I would love great battery life but I'm realistic about it.
The fewer bells and whistles the better. I'm not trying to impress anybody.
I'm just a guy in my mid 40s that wants a reliable phone.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

No smart phone? They are taking over lol. But I 'd recommend these 3. Lg glance, Env 2 or an Lg chocolate. The last one has a really good battery life.

The LG glance..not my fav...LG Env2 is no longer made, its "end of life" and the LG Chocolate has nothing but problems..
If you don't want bells and whistles I would recommend the SamSung Smooth, LG Accolade (Just Launched). Or incase you think you MIGHT start txting, the Samsung Intensity (comes with a keyboard in candybar style). Those would be my top for you. Hope this helps! :D

I think the Samsung Convoy would be a nice choice, but it looks thick and has some stuff you don't need like the mp3 player. Looking at the list for phones without a requirement for a data plan, most of them seem underwhelming from what the reviews say. Samsung Intensity would be my next choice but it has a QWERTY slideout that you wouldn't use much at all. Verizon doesn't have any basic candy bar phones. The razzle has that ridiculous switchable QWERTY back, and then there is the slideup trance that doesn't seem too great according to the customer reviews..

Thanks for the suggestions.
As I mentioned I'm pretty flexible about a couple of my criteria. As I'm coming from a RAZR I don't really have a problem with another flip phone especially since it has the added advantages of protecting the phone and giving the added length when open.
I was wondering what everyone thought of the Samsung Alias 2.
I like the e-ink keys.
But something I really do want is the ability to use software, like BitPim, to edit my phonebook on my computer and port ringtones and photos to/from the phone. Something like MPT but preferably better.
I realize that most of the phones I'm looking at will have MP3 players, cameras etc. That's ok, I suppose.
Recently got my 15 year old daughter a Samsung Intensity. It's just not for me. Too focused on texting.
Any thoughts?

The Samsung Alias 2, is a great phone, it is far away from not having "bells and whistles" tho, It also includes/requires a $9.99 Data feature for internet and email. The keys are one of a kind tho, When you flip it open like a flip phone, it shows the numbers, but when you open it from the side it has the keyboard for txting/email/internet.
The keys as well (in my opinion), are very smooth/flat surfaced, but it all goes by a matter of opinion, I would deff. check one out at the store befor ordering it (if you do it online or phone).
I ALSO agree with iFONE, The Samsung Convoy is a great phone, also has a VERY loud speaker for ringtone and music. It is Ruggedized for Dust, Shock, Radiation Resistant. But a great phone as well all in all. and DOESN'T require the data feature.
