Ok , This started last summer of 2008 in August. I started feeling like I had a tiny thing stuck in my throat and no matter how I tried to swallow it , it wouldn't make it down . The throat didn't hurt at all , it just felt uncomfortable to feel like something tiny is stuck there. I waited hoping that it would go away on its own , but it didn't. Sometimes I would feel it in the middle center of the throat , other times on the upper left side of the throat. Well , months passed and it sowly started to develop in something like a BURP stuck in my throat. I had already gone for a CAT scan in January of 2009 , 5 months after still experiencing it and NOTHING was found in my throat. The feeling has kind of decreased as of now but I can still feel times to times that this feeling is still in my throat. I don't feel it in the morning but as the day progresses , the feeling comes back . Again , IT DOES not hurt , It just makes me feel uncomfortable to experience this all the time .. Now it's been 1 year and 3 months since I've had this feeling. This is ABSOLUTELY the STRANGEST thing that has ever happened to me.
One idea I had in mind is that I have a BIG tummy which I am working on reducing , so I am wondering if that might have something to do with the throat being irritated by a stomach that has acid , but the thing is that I went for a Xray exam , they gave me this WHITE DRINK called BARIUM and they didn't see any sort of ACID reflux .. I also had a blood test to see whether this was linked to my thyroid last year before the end of 2008 , but my thyroid was fine.
If you have experienced this before or have ANY clue what that might be , please share with me .. I'll appreciate it a LOT ! I went to 2 different doctors and they didn't see anything wrong with my throat.. What could this really be ???
