Please help!

My girlfriend is saying she has a sudden stabbing pain in her right side (possibly appendix area). We were laying down and she got up all of a sudden and start crying because it hurt. She said it has never happened before and she felt nauseated. I need someone to respond ASAP to help.
 
It's hard for anyone to make a diagnosis here, but if her pain is very acute and severe and is not subsiding I would take her to the hospital. It could be her appendix as you suggested.

If the pain is bad enough to make her cry, it's got to be pretty bad. Plus she is nauseous- Take her to the hospital. It may turn out to be nothing serious but why take a chance.

I don't know if this is important, but it was immediately after we had sex. She went home now and was crying on the phone and said she would call me back and hasn't yet. I'm guessing either the pain started going away or she just fell asleep. Thank you for your response though!
