Please help with university choice. I'm so stressed and confused :(?

I feel like I'm under so much pressure. I'm being told to write my personal statement for university already, but I am still unsure about what I want to do. I've wanted to do art for years, but after I got an E in my a-level I turned to media. I lacked enthusiasm for the topic chosen in art and quantity wasn't so great either which probably resulted in that grade. So I turned to media because I enjoyed doing the coursework last year, but something doesn't feel right about it. I don't know if I am being put off the subject by my horrible teacher who makes us study completely negative things in every lesson.. also the fact we are only studying representation this year puts me off. We are only a month into the year and its already boring. The whole class feels this way. I already told my schools UCAS rep that I want to do media and she is reluctant to let people do art, but there is also the problem of finding art courses that would even consider taking me. I'm working much better this year in art and it makes me happy. The idea of studying art in uni is so much more appealing than media. I really don't know what to do! If somebody bothered reading all this please give opinions/ suggestions. I feel like I'm being shoved towards media now because there's nothing else and I have to do something.
