Please help with this film...it's bugging me!!

I'm trying to remember the title of this film (and I'm the type of person who won't sleep until I do, so any help would be greatly appreciated!! ), it was on late night BBC1 a couple of months ago.

Set in Wales, pretty gritty drama about a teenage mother and her young daughter, her struggle to find money to feed her baby and racist behaviour towarRAB her neighbours. I think her brother ended up killing the neighbour.

May have been made for TV? I've done a plot and keyword search on IMDB but nothing has jumped out at me yet!

It was 'A Way of Life' - thank you!!! It was a pretty grim film but with brilliant acting. Had forgotten about Brenda Blethyn being in it too.
