I'm doing test corrections for a test and i can't seem to get this last problem. Please help!
A .519 gram of the compound burns in O2 to produce 1.24 grams of CO2 and .255 grams of H2O
A- Calculate the individual masses of C, H and O in the .519 gram sample
B- Determine the empirical formula for the substance
C- if the molar mass of the substance is 110.11 grams/mole, what is the molecular formula for this compound.
