i am gonna buy a ps2 (SLIM) , i want to make sure something , to connect it to the internet ,do i need to connect my Ethernet cable straight to my ps2 , that's it , do i have to do something more or not , and i have an other question ,
most of the time i will be playing in my room but i dont really have a good tv in my room , it's not that bad , the company that my tv is made of is called Zenith , my tv is color and it's between 24 inch to 26 inch , i can also connect my dvd or something like that it but i am not sure about ps2 bcoz i am not good at these kind of stuff please help ?

Why not just save up some and get a ps3? The 60 and 80 GB can still play ps2 and ps1 games.

But anyway, if you really insist on getting a ps2 - you do need an ethernet cable in order to connect it to the internet (althought with the ps3, you can use wireless)

And yes your ps2 will be able to hook up to your TV as long as it has the 3 (yellow, white, and red) hookups in the front/back.

this is explained at http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?message.uid=22153196#U22153196

oh and the tv wont make a difference

right yes u have 2 connect it to the computer ,, on the internet ,, obviously ,, i wuld think that is a given ,,, but other than that ur good to go ,, if u rely r unsure go to your local GAME store and they will sort it out n advice yu ,,, secondly the tv u reliy on is nothin to worry about as long as you can fit a dvd player scart lead in the back you r 100% definately able 2 get the playstation workin through it
:D
hope i helped :)
