Ok, I remember watching this film ages ago when I was little so I'm guessing it was made late 80s or there abouts.
Basically it was about a little boy who had just moved to a new house (I think) but there was a problem with the electricity in the house and all the electrical appliances kind of had a mind of their own.
I remember one vivid scene where the boy's mum was in the shower and suddenly the water went roasting hot but she was trapped inside and ended up getting horrific burns all over her body.
(Reading that back makes it sound so sh*t but I remember loving it!)
