what is our bodies first line of defense against infections???

and explain how a virus gets past this line of defense??? one more question what is required for a virus to enter a host cell???

The first line of defense for the human body is the outermost layer: our skin. The way to get past this line of defense is through an opening in the skin (a cut of some passage, such as the mouth, nose, eyes, etc.)

I am not sure about the last question. It seems a bit vague to me. I would assume a lack of immunity, but I don't know how to put that into specifics.
