...CX-7 10 POINTS!? I just bought a used Mazda CX-7 2008 vehicle 3 days ago. Everything was fine until Sat. when I shut the car off & noticed a blinking red car light with a key through it now flashing every time I shut the car off. Mind you, it never did it before & just started 2 days into driving it. I looked in the manual & it says two things: It could mean I need a new battery in the key (not it, I have two & they both do it) or: If the flashing doesn't stop the system may have a malfunction. It is still under warranty so I took it in Sat. & got two different stupid answers from two different people. One said it was because the other key was too close & one said it's "just suppose to do that". Not according to the manual & why if it's normal did it NOT flash after turning the car off for two days? I think i am being taken advantage of but what can I do? I have to take the car there. Does anyone own this vehicle & it does do this? I am told the 2010's do it too. What else could this be or what else can I do? Thank you.
