My ipod will not connect to my computer. I have tried all different steps found online to try and fix whatever problem there is. Still, the following happens: 1) Instead of the sound like "down up" that hardware normally makes when plugged in, my ipod makes three "duh duh duh"s and the normal, "up down" when unplugged
2) my ipod will not charge/show up in my computer/show up in itunes
My ipod will, however, plug into and register in a different computer.
When I plugged in a different ipod to my computer, this ipod will make the correct "down up" sound as well as show up in my hardware.
What is going on here??
My ipod is recognized in other computers, not mine, and other ipods register in my computer. I have a Dell laptop.
What is the next step I should take in fixing this?
