Hello. My dad found a lump on the left side his neck about a week ago. I felt it. . It feels like a swollen/enlarged lymph node and it is firm/rubbery and moveable. It started out being the size of a marble. I felt one in the same spot on my neck as well. My dad was stung by a wasp on his left hand about a month ago. His entire hand and part of his forearm were swollen for a few days. I have noticed the the bump has gone down a some over the past week. I'm sure my constant feeling of it doesn't help either. I'm just wondering if this could have come from the wasp sting. He doesn't seem to concerned but it is driving me crazy. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Could be. Lymph glands are designed to gather up the nasty gunk and fight off infection in our bodies. It could be fighting off what is left from the bee sting. IT does take time for lymph glands to resume their normal size-as in weeks...and your fussing with it doesn't help... ;) Let your dad's body do it's thing unless he starts to run a high fever or his arm starts to swell up and the bite site turns red and inflamed. I think that the lymph gland is just clearing the last of the bee venom out of his system....

good luck.
