Please help: Sculpture made out of candles and melted wax question?

Hi, ok so for my art class exam we have to make this sculpture and I won't go into all the details exept that it's contemporary art and also the sculpture is supposed to dissapear on it's own. So I was thinking to make a kind of sculpture out of lots of different colored candles, but I have a question: I want to light them all so that they melt together, and I was hoping that all the colors would mix together so that it looks like one colour. My question is, will the different colours of melted wax mix together? Or will it just look like lots of blobs of different colored wax thrown together? Thanks.
Thanks! And like I don't plan on melting the wax before, I mean I would like all the candles once I place them how I want them and let them melt over time, if that affects your answer any...

You might want to ask whether or not you're allowed to start any conflagration for this project.
The wax would probably not coalesce into one solid color, but into a mass of many different colored blobs and puddles. Have you thought of a sculpture made of those corn starch package peanuts? They adhere to one another with water and are water soluble, but that isn't disappearing on their own either is it?Maybe a sculpture made of salt or sand over a grate covered receptacle where you could remove a piece barricade to the grate upon display of your presentation? That would disappear on it's own.Or a sculpture made of M&M's or chocolate and have the class help it disappear.Have fun, whatever you do!
