I am under really bad anxiety right now, and everything is scaring me with my health. I take Lexapro and Xanax but lately doesn't seem to be helping. I've been on them for 3 years. I am calling my Dr. in the morning for a check up, but it seems that I'm always finding something "severe" with my health. Lately I have had that lump in the throat feeling. I've gotten it from time to time but it seems that it's really bad right now and also seems that my food keeps getting stuck. I don't know if I get scared when I swallow and cause it to get stuck or if I actually have a problem. So of course I google it and have come to the "conclusion" that I have a hernia. And I also "diagnosed" myself with a strangulated hernia or one that at least has to have surgery and I"m panicking because one of my phobias is having surgery. Can someone please help me? I am hoping other people with anxiety has had this problem too and can relate and talk me down.
Thank you everyone. Michelle
