Please Help. Replacement handset. N 82 BLACK.?

Gave my n82 for repair four times now. Each time it has come from the service centre with new problems (dreadful nokia service). Now I've been told by Nokia care (Chennai, India) that a replacement handset is arriving.

I want to know if this will be a new handset. Is there anyway to findout if this is a new handset. Or if it has been used ? Has anyone out here obtained such a replacement ? Comments welcome. Thanks for answers
