please help my computer wont start?

whenever i turn on my computer once it is suposed 2 da user select screen it says please wait then it says updates were not installed correctly reverting changes. and then it will restart and do the same thing over and over again non stop
 
1. Enter the safe mode and do a system restore or
2. Format C: /q and install a fresh windows.
 
Do you have Vista? XP Pro? XP Home? You need to give more details. If it is Vista, there is a known issue with one of the updates that it had. It would do something similar to what yours is doing. But this update was pulled almost a month ago. If you give us at least your operating system I am sure we will be able to help you out better.

press the 'f8' key/button on your keyboard when the black boot up screen that precedes windows pops-up, this should take you to a choice menu, choose last known working configuration.

It allowed me to be able to use my pc even after I fuxxored the drivers, so it should work.
