I kinda need help with my characters. I'm wondering what would be considered annoying/overused with these types of characters (and this is more in a fantasy setting). Basically, what kinds of character development, general things happening to you hate to see happen to these characters.
A shy girl.
A vicious army general.
A resolute sort of divine being.
What are some cliches that involve these characters, and some things I really shouldn't do with these guys in my story? What would be interesting to generally have happen to these characters?
