I have been having lower back pain and I was wondering if anyone could help me with the results.

It says, there is degenerative disease at L3-4. L4-5 and at L1-2 levels at the intervertebral disc levels. A mild degree of degenerative disease is present at the facet joint of the lurabosacral junction.

IMPRESSION:
Degenerative changes in the luraber spine, somewhat more prominent at the L4-5 level.

I do not see the doctor for another 2 weeks to go over the results. Please let me know if you know what these results mean.

Thanks,

degenerative disc disease happens to everyone as they age...some ppl have it and have no symptoms. the good thing about it....from what you have posted from your results...there are no bulges/herniations or ruptures. DDD is just a natural deterioration of your discs. you lose your flexibility, elasticity, and shock absorbing characteristics in your discs. When this happens, you start to get into a stiff and rigid state that restricts your movement.

most likely all that you will need is pain meRAB....and possible epidural steroid injections. dont let the word "disease" scare you....its just a natural part of the aging process.
hope this helps
