I am a student in the Pre-IB and there are the IELTS exams that i am doing starting this thursday. I also had to write a personal project (essay) in english about any subject i would like. I sadly did not pass, i was close but still not a pass.
Teachers are telling me that this is the only thing that decides wether or not i go into the IB programme.
So i was wondering if the teachers are scaring me to do well on my exams or if it is actually true that they only look at this essay and not the exams.
The answer would be very appreaciated as i am extreamly nervous and disappointed.
