Miserable in LA
Guest
Hello
My name is Jamie. I moved to LA from Austin 10 mos ago. I never suffered from allergies until I came here. I have moved once, gave my dog away, replaced the carpet (had to, the landlord wanted matching materials) own a hepa air filter and vacuum. I am taking allergy shots for dust and mold, am doing accupuncture, tried NEAT, use the neti pot, exercise...have spent thousanRAB and am on the brink of suicide and losing my job.
My most recent failure was to replace old, pet-used carpet with new carpet. Now I am more allergic to my bedroom than ever.
I have been ventilating it for 5 days.
I bought a large plant
I have been sleeping in the living room
What, if anything can reduce the toxic fumes and neutralize the formaldehyde in the carpet and padding? Thank you so much in advance
