Ireland- skype or other? My best friend is going to live in Montana for 9 months from August onwards. I don't know how I will cope without him; so we need a way of being able to phone each other every day for very little money or for free.

How does Skype work? is it an option? What does it cost and how do I use it?

Any other suggestions? besides msn etc
