Here's a poem i wrote recently, i've asked my friends, and they say its really good, but they be just saying that 'cause they're nice. Can I have some honest opinions?
here it is :
Life's game
Everywhere and everyone,
all alive as one,
each path seperate, yet inclined,
to cross and meet and intertwine.
Though your voice was firm and fine,
did it get it's chance to shine?
When life was your best friend,
and optimism was the trend,
then you never did depend,
on life's fortune to descend.
O! those sweet, soleful years!
Would you sink them in your fears?
Drown them in regretful tears,
or would you greet change, with three cheers?
Drink for a life, you can't obtain?
or drink to life, and stay sane!
Find anyone else to blame,
maybe hang your head in shame,
or shrug and stay in the game.
The doors will always be there,
You'll always have a key spare,
won't you find the strength and dare,
to open a door and meet your share?
Everywhere and everyone,
can they live as one?
They can make the sun that shone,
shine on and on!
