please help, im joining the army when they start accepting again but untill

then what can i do? Im 18 and iv my mind set on joining the army when they start accepting again, (irish army) . but because of the RECESSION im left with no job and not a thing to do..theres coarses available to me that i can do but i want to do something that relates to things ill be doing in the army if that makes any sence. i plan on making a career out of it so the more i no before i join the better, im not going to sit back and do nothing just because times are tough now. so id like to use these times to learn alot of new stuff that will give me some advantage joining,, if you could tell me anything that i could do now in a coarse that would relate to army life i would be very greatful (metal working or anything iv no idea, im hopeing you can help. go raibh mile a maith agat
