I attend UC Davis and i did fairly well my fall quarter. By Pass 1 of my registration, since I was a freshmen, none of the classes I needed to take for my major had spaces so I signed up for useless GE classes and waited for Pass 2. When Pass 2 came, i dropped three of my four GE classes to waitlist in the classes I needed to take for my major, since I had a limit as to the number of credits I could register for. Little did I know that the Financial Aid office counted waitlisted classes as "not enrolled". When it was time for financial aid to be disbursed, I didn't get any aid because in their eyes, I only registered for 4 credits when the minimum to get aid was 12. Now I cannot pay for winter quarter because my parents make minimum wage and I don't have a job as of now. My fees are due in 3 days. What should I do?
Please help! I didn't get financial aid for Winter Quarter!?
