I am a twenty year old female and I have started questioning my sexuality. In high school I was in several relationships with males (nothing serious or sexual as, you know, I was fairly young) and the boy that I first really loved broke up with me several years ago (now he is gay).
Now I have no interest in a relationship with any men. I squirm at any thought of sexual contact with them and have found myself having crushes on girls that have a androgynous quality to them, with the way they act with their mannerisms, to the way they dress. This has left me feeling very confused. I only seem to have crushes on male celebrities and don't find anything attractive about men my age when I pass them on the street, except for their friendliness, etc. I am completely open to having a relationship with a woman, but I am open to a relationship with a man as well (but purely on a platonic level first until I could really open myself up.)
I really was wondering if you could help me, perhaps tell me your life experience and how you knew to indentify whether you were attracted to the same sex or not? Thank you so much, I'd really appreciate it.
