I got a nokia 5610 and t-mobile. Less than a week later, the screen died. I have seen dropped calls as I reach for the phone to answer at least a dozen times at home, work and at the gym. The call sound is terrible. I can barely hear the caller even at high volume. The mp3 (supposed to be the top feature) is mediocre sound with no bass at all! The phone's navigation is work to do even the basics (like changing volume to silent for a meeting). All I know is, I miss my Razor-copy Samsung that I just disabled. :flamemad:
So basically I am here as a last result with one more day left in the 14 day return clause to decide on a new phone and provider. I have tried att and sprint so verizon is the last choice. I just have a few questions:
1. **WI-FI** Does a wi-fi phone allow free calls through wifi without paying extra? Can I access internet through wi-fi without paying extra? If I have to use my minutes, will a wi-fi phone allow for better call reception in my building through my cable internet line (assuming I have a wi-fi device on my computer)?
2. **Any recommendations for phones that will work good with a $40 plan including: good mp3, good call sound (loud enough), strong enough to take a drop or two on the floor, fast navigation for the basics (sound, messages, phonebook), stereo bluetooth, preferably 3.5mm jack, less than $150?
thanks
