I know this sounds really stupid but....I've just tried artificial nails for the first time and I didn't read the directions (I know I should have) but the later that night I tore them off and hardened glue was still stuck to my real nail. The next morning I put them back on. Then at school one of them accidentally cam off and it looked really stupid so I tore the rest off too. I I've been ripping them off and putting them back on again for the past seven days. I think every time I rip them off it takes a thin layer of my real nail off with it. Now I just took them off again and I noticed that my real nail is really short, flimsy, weak, and little flakes of nail keep coming off, I don't know what to do, or if it will just heal back in time. I KNOW this is really dumb and I was really stupid for ripping them off so I don't want to be scolded. Please help. Should I go to a doctor? Are my nails going to be damaged? Should I just wait for them to heal? Will they?
