...the morality of abortion? Should we focus on the rights of the mother when discussing the morality of abortion?

Please no yes/no answers, i want reasoning behind answers and different opinions which is why I am asking this question.


All answers or points will be appreciated, thanks for all given.
 
Whothunkit, Not everyone has the same moral code as you. To judge them using your morals is extremely silly.

I don't condsider a fetus to be a living thing (it doesn't meet the definition of life). No matter how much we argue, we'll never see eye to eye on that point. It's a woman's body, and it's her right to do whatever she wants to her body. We can remove an appendix or kidney if we want, so why not remove the fetus. If it can survive on it's own once it's removed, then it's a living being and deserves protection. Until that point, the woman can do whatever she wants.
 
Since the baby is in jeopardy, the rights of that baby come first. The baby did not cause the conception, the mother and father did. The rights of the mother does not include killing her unborn child....Think, people.....that baby is alive, no matter how tiny or dependent it is on the mother.....Abortions are an inhuman solution to a serious problem.
