Please help 03 Suzuki Marauder Troubles?

I just bought an 03 Marauder 800. The bike has about 1800 miles on it. The trouble is when i bought it there was a small backfire and now there is a bad backfire. One of the exhaust pipes is cooler than the other. Put the bike in gear and it runs like crap (as if it isn't getting enough gas) and at idle it backfires terribly. Pulled the plugs both look good a bit black, but good. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? This bike doesn't have enough miles on it to run like this! The bike ran fantastic until i filled up with BP gas, high test, and then about a mile down the road all this started. I drained the gas and checked for water in it but there was none. Please, please help I really don't know much about these bikes my last one was a honda rebel. Thanks in advance to any advice given.
 
If one pipe is cool and the other warm...You have a foulded plug

Could be weak spark or a simple plug wire is leaking .. Plugs should look light tan color.. Also check the choke linkage...
